As you must know, browsing the Web without any safety precautions, expose your privacy and activities to sever risks. You can unintentionally stumble upon a website that contains malware. People in your organization can browse inappropriate Web contents such as contents that are reserved for adults. Your IT resources can also be flooded by useless Web contents such as ads. CacheGuard Web Gateway remedy to those problems by providing a total control over the Web contents browsed in your organization.
The Antivirus inspects the Web traffic at the gateway and eradicates all dangerous contents before they can enter into your networks. You stumbled upon a Web page on the darknet? You received an email with a suspicious link that you accidentally clicked on it? CacheGuard instantly blocks that suspicious contents and logs the access attempt.
SSL Inspection
The SSL Inspection enables the decryption of encrypted Web traffic (HTTPS) at the Gateway in order to eradicate dangerous contents. An integrated PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) allows your to locally generate you private CA certificate and its associated private key in order to facilitate its integration into your networks.
URL Filtering
The URL Filtering blocks the access to unwanted URLs. To do so, it uses blacklists, white lists and regular expressions to allow or disallow websites accesses, thus increasing the productivity of your users while keeping them safe from malicious websites. The URL Filtering coupled with your LDAP or AD/Kerberos authentication server allows you to define your own sophisticated Web access policies.
URL Blacklists
CacheGurd comes with a URL blacklists service as an option. URL blacklists are updated on a daily basis and can be automatically downloaded to a CacheGuard appliance on a daily or weekly basis. In addition, with CacheGuard you have the possibility to integrate your own blacklists or white lists of URLs.
Web Access Authentication
The Authentication allows you to restrict the Web access to authenticated users only, thus preventing the Web access to non authorized users or intruders. The authentication supports LDAP, LDAPS and Kerberos.
Integrated PKI
The SSL inspection uses your own CA certificate that should be imported to Web browsers to make the SSL mediation work. To deal with your CA certificate, CacheGuard-OS embeds a PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) that allows you to easily generate and/or load your CA certificate and its associated private key into your Web Gateway. This makes it very easy to deploy the SSL inspection in your organization.
CacheGuard Web Gateway is integrated into our core product, CacheGuard-OS. CacheGuard-OS is an appliance oriented Operating System that transforms a virtual or bare metal machine into a network appliance.
